Morning lovely people.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all back to our golf course after a long lay-off.
The first proper weekend of playability for a while has been a great success and I, on behalf of my fellow Captains, would like to thank our great greenkeepers Michael and Rod and our fantastic head pro Mark for doing all they have done in the leadup to last Friday's opening.
They will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our course will improve and then stay in peak condition for the Summer/Autumn season. ⛳
Anyone who has visited and played over this last weekend will have noticed that it was pretty tough going with heavy winds added with heavy rough off the fairways, lost balls aplenty!
Rest assured that once the long stuff becomes a little less long over the next couple of weeks and we all hopefully improve our games, less balls should be lost.👍🏼
You will have also noticed that Mark has been stationed in his golf office welcoming everyone which has been a great thing. He is having to work from dusk 'til dawn for the club so we can have our course available to us during this time.
